Motivation System

Apangea Learning's innovative motivation system inspires students to learn by building self-esteem and confidence.  By rewarding students for consistent effort and achievement, students are driven to use Apangea – even on nights and weekends.

High School Students Cheering

Motivational Contests

Apangea Learning encourages students to learn with a one-of-a-kind motivational program. We continually develop national and district level motivational programs and contests to make math and writing fun and engaging while encouraging students to work independently and collaboratively towards their goals.

Apangea Rewards

Motivational Award Options

Apangea Rewards keep students returning to the program to learn and earn points. Students earn Apangea Points as they complete math word problems with Apangea Math, and as they work through the writing process with Apangea Writing. Students can redeem their points for items such as iTunes or Barnes and Noble gift cards, Apangea Learning gear, or iPods. They can even use their points to make a financial donation to charity.

Engaging and Personalized

Math Motivation System Screen Shot

Apangea Learning keeps students engaged through individualization and customization. Students work at their own pace and receive instructional feedback based on the way they answer a math question or respond to a writing prompt. Differentiated instruction from live, certified teachers keep students engaged and on the right path at the most critical moments in their learning. Students personalize their learning experience by choosing their avatar learning coach, adjusting settings, and picking their own background design for the program. The result is an individualized learning experience that keeps students motivated and working.

Testimony

"Many kids are not really eager to get into math; they think it is very difficult. Apangea takes this kind of problem away...I can see these kids coming to me saying, 'I want to use Apangea. When are we going to do Apangea?' Well, we have only two days for Apangea, but they want to do it all the time!"-
