Apangea Learning Math Tutoring Program to be Offered Through Education Networks of America
Additional Reseller Opportunities Invited
PITTSBURGH, June 25, 2009 - Apangea Learning Inc., (www.apangealearning.com), leaders in personalized, one-on-one online tutoring for students nationwide, said today that its Apangea Math supplemental learning program used in K-12 schools will now be resold by Education Networks of America (ENA), a leading managed network service provider for school systems, libraries and governments.
Apangea said its agreement with ENA represents the first time the company has made one of its
services available through a reseller. ENA will include Apangea Math in its Consortium Partner
Program, a bundle of instructional technology solutions for the educational market.
"Working with ENA is an important step for us," said Gerry Balbier, Apangea Learning executive vice
president. "Our goal is to get as many at-risk and struggling K-12 math students as possible using
Apangea Math. We want to help them acquire the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their
academic work and their lives. Reselling through ENA will help us reach more schools and students."
Added Balbier, "We invite additional opportunities to discuss possible reseller deals."
Apangea will continue offering its services directly to schools and school districts across the country.
Monica Farner, ENA's director of marketing, said, "We are delighted to add this wonderful learning
resource to our consortium program. Our role as an education-focused service provider is one of
partnership with our customers in a joint effort to bring greater teaching, learning and opportunity to
students through technology. Apangea is a company that epitomizes that commitment. Apangea Math,
rooted in a large body of cognitive research, has proven to increase student performance. It engages
and motivates students to work hard and do well. Teachers, students and parents love it."
